About Us
We’re a laid-back bunch of runners who embrace the noble spirit of the sloth. Around here, we believe the real finish line isn’t a medal, it’s ordering the croissant at the cafe at the end.
Thursdays, 6:30 AM: we always meet at the same place — outside Accor Stadium, opposite the locker room (map). Sundays are all around Sydney, and on Saturdays we’re normally at Rhodes Parkrun.
Come join us; Thursday sessions are open for people of all paces as we all do our reps at our own goal paces!

The session itself still moves around Olympic Park depending on the workout; this is where we always meet first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you called the Sloths?
+We're just a group of friends who thought it was funny that there's no run clubs with a slow sounding animal as a mascot. We're a bit faster now than when we started, but we're still a bit slow.
Do I need to RSVP?
+No, just show up! We're a friendly bunch, so we'll make you feel welcome. If you think you might be late, DM us on Instagram so we know to wait for you.
What pace do you run at?
+The Thursday interval sessions are run at your own pace. We usually run loops, so even if you're at different paces, there's still a great sense of community (plus the comfort of seeing everyone else suffering just as much as you).
The Sunday long runs typically start at around a 6:15min/km pace but typically speed up to 5:30min/km by the end of the run.
What should I bring to a run?
+Comfortable running shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, money for coffee, and a positive attitude! For our Sunday long runs we plan routes with water fountains so there's no need to carry a water bottle.
How can I stay updated on run schedules?
+Check our website regularly for upcoming Sunday long runs, or follow us on social media.
